"If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be

My Answer: I think it might be fun to spend a day at Hogwarts. It sounds kind of neat...hidden from the eyes of muggles and in the hills of Scotland with a big lake nearby. Sometimes I think it might be nice to spend a little bit of time without electricity, without being connected to the phone and the TV and the internet and all that stuff. I don't remember anything electric about the Harry Potter books that I have read so far...
It might be fun to ride the Hogwarts Express. And see paintings that are kind-of/sort-of real but not really. And be able to practice spells and make potions. And to find hidden passageways. And to visit Hogsmeade. And play Quidditch. And most of all, fly on a broom.

Just hopping through and wanted to say hi. Hogwarts is the resounding choice for this prompt, but I think anyone who has read these books has imagined themselves at Hogwarts. Sure would have beaten camp as a kid.

ReplyDeleteHopping by to visit and follow! I wouldn't mind the broom-flying, but the rules of Quidditch confuse me--the golden Snitch is the only game piece that matters, unless you happen to score 15 goals! Scandalous. :-)
